Kettl

Visual Identity

Image showing a pair of hands preparing a matcha using a wooden spoon to scoop the bright green powder into a ceramic bowl.
Challenge

Based in both NYC and Fukuoka, Japan, Kettl tea is the authority on Matcha and Japanese teas. Kettl has the backing of over 36 Michelin starred chefs including Thomas Keller, Jean Georges, David Bouley, Eiji Icihimura & Daisuke Nakazawa. As Kettl continues to grow, the brand needs a close-knit creative partner to conduct consistency across platforms.

Solution

We have been working with Kettl since 2018 to create a cohesive brand story reflected through visual direction, packaging, collateral, catalog, store design, product development, content direction, and special collaborations. Recent additions to Kettl include creative direction for the new Bowery location, designs for menu boards, takeaway hot and cold beverage cups and packaging for matcha chocolate bars and tea puddings.
