Edge specializes in efficient recruiting, training, and onboarding for remote roles in the medical, insurance, and dentistry industries in the U.S. What sets Edge apart is its dual commitment to both its partners (clients) and its talent. High-compliance industries demand trust and up-to-date regulatory knowledge, so Edge provides free training to individuals seeking certification in these fields. This ensures a seamless integration of top talent into the workforce. With rapid growth fueled by its strong focus on enhancing both client and talent experiences, Edge outgrew its startup identity and mission.

Solution

Edge partnered with YC to build a consistent, scalable, and compelling brand story that aligns with the values of its internal team, partners, and talent. YC refined Edge’s vision to “reimagine how the world works” and shaped its mission: “to connect the dots between impactful jobs and great global hires.” This mission is reflected in Edge’s new logomark, which takes inspiration from both science and technology. The dot formation subtly forms an “E”, symbolizing the connection between talent and opportunity while aligning ambition with the right roles. The brand’s primary color palette features rich purple hues, ensuring strong market differentiation and recognition.

Brand Architecture

Supporting this identity, the graphic system is designed to be dynamic—allowing for endless variations by dissecting, combining, and adjusting dots, lines, and shapes. This flexibility ensures adaptability across all visual applications. Additionally, YC conducted a nomenclature exercise to create consistency across Edge’s sub-brands: Edge Lab, Edge Pro, and Edge Edu. Commonly used terms were also streamlined, with “Marketplace” becoming “Talent Directory” and “Client/Employer” replaced with “Partner.” With “Match Your Ambition” as its new creative platform, Edge now speaks directly to its partners, talent, and internal team—reinforcing its mission and strengthening its brand identity.
